New Look Haul: Part 1

Hey Sweeties,

As you all know (or at least should do by now), I have recently changed roles and a new job means a new wardrobe and a chance to freshen up my (work) image; for the purpose of this post, means a great opportunity to go shopping!

New Look Haul

For those that have seen my Weekly Work Wear Highlight posts, you’ll notice that many of my staple items are from New Look and this doesn’t look to change any time soon. I feel like I have shopped at New Look all my life and this probably is a fairly accurate claim. I did though go off them for a short while during my late teens/early twenties as they went from being a place for young fashion where you could by a cool t-shirt for £5, then suddenly they became a player on the high street and in my eyes, lost their appeal. In their defence however, I was someone that just didn’t like things that loads of other people did so when something became popular, I went off it and in some areas, this is still the case. Like, I would still never buy any item of clothing or accessory that was too distinctive to somewhere. That’s just me.

Anyway.

I love New Look for the choice and the simplicity of their clothing which is a mixture of items that can be worn formally, or casually, for work, and for play. The quality is also excellent and why I have owned some of my staples from them for years. They just last and last and by picking items that can be switched up into many looks and styles, they don’t go out of fashion. Quite conveniently, New Look have had a massive sale during the time I have left one job and started another, Win! Not so conveniently for you guys, is that these things (fashion hauls) are better filmed as photographing clothing off the body is a skill and one that as yet, I do not possess. I’m sorry.

So here’s the deal. Today I am basically telling you a haul has happened and will show you the items in the most basic of ways. Then on Thursday, I am going to show you some ideas on how to wear and style these items specifically for the workplace. Okay?

Here are the items…

New Look Ankle boots

New Look black dress

AX Paris new Look dress

New Look Dress

Black T-Shirt

I’ll see you on Thursday x
