Hot Cloth Cleanser: Vitamin E Skincare from Superdrug| Review

I was recently made aware of the a new hot cloth cleanser from Superdrug, and even though I was not particularly looking for a product of this type, when I was recently in a store and spotted it by chance, I thought it would be worth a purchase.

Hot Cloth Cleanser: Vitamin E Skincare from Superdrug

Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser

To date, the only other hot cloth cleanser I have tried is from Eve Lom that I received in a beauty box, and I liked the idea of it but I hadn’t seen an affordable alternative to make we want to incorporate it into my skincare routine more regularly… until discovering this hot cloth cleanser from the Vitamin E skincare range at Superdrug.

The product costs £4.99 and it comes boxed with the muslin cloth inside. As you can see from the images, the packaging is simple but I prefer being able to squeeze out the product as opposed to having to scoop out the product from a tub.

The Formula

As a formula, for some reason, I was expecting it to be more exfoliating but instead, it feels like a moisturiser which was a surprise. However, it feels lovely to apply and if you didn’t know it was a cleanser I think you would be quite happy to leave it on and let it absorb naturally into the skin.

As it happens, this is when you rinse the muslin cloth in (hand) hot water and then polish the cleanser into and off your face. You can, of course, apply the Hot Cloth Cleanser over makeup and use it as a remover, but personally, I prefer to use this product as a second cleanse so it can properly concentrate on cleaning the skin.

I have yet to have any adverse effects since using the cleanser, it works really well with my skin type (combination) and I just love how my face feels after use. For the money, I just do not think you can go wrong.

Have you guys tried this out? Are there any other hot cloth cleansers you would recommend?

Until next time x
