Naturelle Cosmetics Face Cream | Skincare Review

Hey Sweeties,

I am excited to review for you today another organic skincare product – the Naturelle Cosmetics face cream* from Naturelle Cosmetics. Not only do I love finding new organic, cruelty-free products to try, my skin more often than not responds to them really well too.

Naturelle Cosmetics is a private, family-owned business based in the UK. The company take huge pride in being able to source and supply their customers with cosmetic products from organic, certified farms in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the UK. This is the the first time I have tried anything from this brand so I was looking forward to giving the face cream a go.

The Packaging

To be brutally honest, the packaging doesn’t do the Naturelle Cosmetics face cream any favours. The box arrived a bit battered from the post, and while the bottle itself is okay, the branding and labelling doesn’t scream try me. However, the cardboard packaging and branding aside, I like a good pump on a bottle and this one distributes enough product nicely.

For ages I thought I had normal skin that loves a good hydrating moisturiser, but following my recent deep cleansing facial at No. 1 Hair & Beauty (here), I learnt that I actually have combination skin -a mixture of dry and oily. I now totally appreciate why my skin adores a good hydrating moisturiser and this Naturelle Cosmetics face cream is brilliant for this.

On the box – A daily treatment specifically designed for sensitive and dehydrated skin enriched with organic argan oil, organic orange blossom water, organic shea butter, beeswax and tocopheryl. Nourishes, repairs and restructures the epidermis owing to its anti-free-radial effect. The skin’s tone, softness and radiance are all improved.

I like also that a little goes a long way -a single pump or two delivers a pea sized amount which is ample to cover the face. For a good 2-3 hours after application I can still feel my face hydrated and radiant from the product, which absorbs quickly but its effects I feel for ages after.

The Verdict

The packaging lets the Naturelle Cosmetics face cream down a little, but the product itself I really like and retailing at £8.45 it hardly breaks the bank. I think for your money, you’re actually getting a very good product and for that I would definitely recommend this product to you.

What are you favourite organic, cruelty-free skincare products?

Until next time x

Experiencing my first Deep Cleansing Facial Beauty Treatment

Hey Sweeties,

I don’t know about you guys, but I adore beauty treatments and spas; while I do my at-home skincare and things, nothing beats going somewhere else for a pamper in the hands of a professional. Recently I spoke of my enjoyment for shellac manicures; at Christmas, I experienced a full-body massage; I love going to the Nirvana Spa; and last year following my trip to the then new, Blush + Blow beauty bar , I went back a few weeks later for my first blow dry. For me beauty treatments are my way of giving myself some time out, some me-time.

Book Your Lifestyle is a website that helps you locate salons and spas near you, and I was fortunate to meet them recently at the Blogosphere Valentine’s event. Through Book Your Lifestyle, I found No.1 Hair and Beauty located in Shepherds Bush (and conveniently, next to Westfield Shopping mall), and experienced my first facial. Specifically, I tried the Deep Cleansing Facial (with blackhead removal)* which I was looking forward to because I have never had a facial, but have always been intrigued to.

CND Shellac Nails – My Love for Manicures and Pedicures | Valentine’s Day

In celebration of all things love and beauty, today I wanted to show you guys something I have been enjoying since April 2016 when I got married -CND Shellac manicures and pedicures!

I had a Shellac manicure a few years ago just before my holiday to Las Vegas, but I haven’t really had the excuse to treat myself again until my wedding. While it wasn’t something I intended to keep up, I have done and every month or so I head to my favourite beauty salon in Eton, Bespoke Beauty by Emma Simmons and treat myself to a CND Shellac manicure, and slightly less frequently (because they generally last a lot longer) a CND Shellac pedicure.

A Review of the NYX Lip Lingerie in Shade 02 Embellishment

Hey Sweeties,

When NYX Cosmetics released into Boots stores across the UK last year, I waited an age before I finally tracked down a stand and thus only came across one recently on a trip after Christmas to the Westfield Shopping Mall in White City, London. Since then I have noticed that my local Boots store has finally been fitted with a stand so I will be taking a closer look at that soon.

I have a list of products I would like to try from NYX Cosmetics, but from the stand in White City, I could only really find the lip and face products, so I picked up the NYX Lip Lingerie in Embellishment, a lip liner, and one of the Soft Matte Lip Creams in shade Cannes, that I will review separately.
