I was recently sent some Belmio-Cafe organic coffee pods* to try and I’m really excited to share my thoughts about them for you today –
“Our coffees are roasted slowly and intensively for a lengthy period, resulting in an extra intense and well-balanced flavour, a full body and a unique character.” -Belmio
Organic coffee pods
I have been a coffee drinker for a long time and I was delighted to have received a Nespresso machine as a wedding gift. Fortunately the Belmio-Cafe organic coffee pods are compatible with my machine.
I was sent two types of the Belmio-Cafe organic coffee pods to try; the espresso Verde and the espresso Oro. The latter is the stronger of the two which I thought would be best tried in the morning for an early caffeine kick.
Quality organic coffee at home
At home, I like my coffee black. The Verde has a mild intensity, combining roasted almond nut and citrus zest, whereas the Oro contains vanilla, spices and wood flavourings with a cocoa aftertaste.
Looking after my seven month-old son, it’s amazing how busy my days are. I don’t often get the chance to drink a full cup of coffee, so coffee pods really are my go-to.
Final thoughts
I assumed I would prefer the Verde but as it happens, I got through all 20 capsules I was sent and I think I liked both varieties equally.
Overall, I really enjoyed the Belmio-Cafe organic coffee pods and I would be more than happy to purchase them in the future.
Until next time x
