Cast your minds back to your school days and I can almost guarantee you will remember at least one of your class mates (possibly it might even have been you) that came into class with their school bag dripping wet; all their books fudged to mush because their stupid water bottle leaked. Yep, I remember it well because it happened to me at least more than once. I specifically remember one time having to approach my English teacher with my soggy, ruined copy of Macbeth that my mum had to pay to replace. Many things you leave behind once you finish school but the fear of leaky water bottles has never left me and to this day I approach water bottles in my bag with extreme caution.

In short, yes.
Until the Ion8 water bottle came into my life, all water bottles were never placed in my handbag, car, luggage, anywhere, without being wrapped in a plastic bag first. Even though I took a while to properly be confident to let the Ion8 water bottle travel naked as it were in my bag, I soon did and I promise you, that bottle hasn’t released a drop unless I have flipped the cap open myself.
The next key detail to note is that to actually drink from the water bottle is extremely easy, the bottle has a vented, smooth liquid flow but not so much that you choke. I still have room for improvement when it comes to drinking enough water on a daily basis, but this water bottle has made a significant change to this. During the week it travels to/from work with me, sits on my desk for regular sipping, and I even now take it with me on car journeys at weekends that I so rarely did before. It just goes to show that when a product performs well, you buy into it fully.
The only negative I can identify is that when the bottle arrived, there was a huge sticker on the side of the bottle that was IMPOSSIBLE to remove. It has almost gone now but there’s still a sticky patch left on the side which is annoying.
