Valentine’s day is fast approaching and now more than ever, we need to be thankful for the people in our lives and celebrate love. I know it’s not for everyone, but even a small gesture of some Valentine’s flowers can be enough to let those important to you, know that you care.

This luxury bouquet of Valentine’s flowers is a striking arrangement made up of a mixture of flowers, stems of eucalyptus, berries and leafy foliage. Vibrant pops of purple, and the deep reds from the roses, berries and carnations sit beautifully amongst the assortment of green tones and muted pinks.
As a bouquet of Valentine’s flowers, it’s modern and interesting while still incorporating the traditional flower of love, roses. Roses are the ultimate symbol of love and romance, their delicate formation of petals, striking deep red colour and scent make them hard to beat at any time of year, not just Valentine’s.

Seeing as we’re all spending a huge amount of time at home at the moment, many of us furloughed or made redundant, Valentine’s Day on a budget is going to be important.
A beautiful bouquet of Valentine’s flowers is a wonderful gift to receive, but maybe you’re not that into something so extravagant, or even that into red roses, but still want to give the gift of flowers?
Spring is just around the corner (thank goodness) and small bunches of daffodils and other spring blooms are beginning to arrive into supermarkets and local shops. Daffodils particularly, are one of my favourite types of flowers and seeing their yellow heads flourish brings the biggest smile on my face.
Maybe you could consider a small posy of spring flowers as an alternative gift for the special person in your life? Particularly at this complicated time when we are all looking forward to longer and warmer days so we can spend more time outside.

The bouquet from Jean Page Floral Boutique was hand delivered and arrived in great condition and safely packaged on my doorstep. I sometimes treat myself to a mail order of flowers that I need to prepare and assemble myself, so it was a treat to have a bunch of Valentine’s flowers arrive ready assembled (that I just needed to snip the stems before putting them into a vase).
