Elizabeth Shaw Luxury Biscuits | Review

Hey Sweeties,

I don’t know about you, but I rarely ever turn down a sweet treat but I’ve got to be honest, I am not a big biscuit fan… or at least, it’s not something I routinely purchase but when I do have a biscuit I do always ask myself why I don’t keep a better selection at home.

So, when the team behind Elizabeth Shaw luxury biscuits* got in contact to promote the recent Combinations Tour that took place in Reading and some other local UK towns and cities, and offered me the chance to sample some of these luxury biscuits I of course couldn’t refuse.

Elizabeth Shaw luxury biscuits

Elizabeth Shaw have over 130 years’ experience transforming the perfect taste and texture combinations into luxuriously tempting confectionery. I was lucky to be sent three of their biscuit combinations to try –
Raisin and Hazelnut, Mint and Cocoa, and Coconut and Hazelnut.

Let it be known I’m all for sharing a pack of biscuits with family, friends and colleagues but as my parents would sometimes say to my siblings and I when they had a particular luxurious treat in hand, these Elizabeth Shaw biscuits are most definitely much too good for children!

These luxury biscuits aren’t your standard Hob Knobs, oh no, the Elizabeth Shaw luxury biscuits are a beautiful handcrafted combination of taste and texture. I wasn’t expecting them to be quite chewy but they are and I think this adds to the appeal, you are forced to take your time and not just devour at speed.

Of the three flavour combinations I was supplied, my husband and I enjoyed the mint & cocoa ones the most, with the raisin & hazelnut a close second.

What are your favourite luxury sweet treats? Elizabeth Shaw luxury biscuits can be found in Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

Until next time x
